Where can I find my insurance policy documents for travel insurance purchased through FFI?

The documents related to the insurance policy that is underwritten by Nationwide (The Friendship Force Travel Protection Plan) are linked in the confirmation email that you should receive after each purchase. However, here are links to the documents in case you can no longer locate your confirmation or if the links in your confirmation don’t work:

Summary of Benefits: This is a document that shows a summary of the limits of coverage that are available to you. It is recommended to take a copy of this with you on your trip in case you need to utilize the 24/7 Travel Assistance service.

Full policy document for All States besides IL,NJ, and TX: This is a 63 page document that outlines the General Definitions, General Provisions, Coverage, Limitations and Exclusions for US residents living in all states other than Illinois, New Jersey and Texas. Due to state specific language, these three states, there are different policy documents.

A 23 page document that outlines the General Definitions, General Provisions, Coverage, Limitations and Exclusions for US residents living in Illinois.

Full Policy Documents for Residents of the State of New Jersey:

A 22 page document that outlines the General Definitions, General Provisions, Coverage, Limitations and Exclusions for US residents living in New Jersey.

A 27 page document that outlines the General Definitions, General Provisions, Coverage, Limitations and Exclusions for US residents living in Texas.

 

Two Important Notes:

  • This is considered a “Pay and Submit” policy which means that you pay the costs and then submit your receipts with your claim. Please document your claim with as many receipts, pictures, and notes from Doctor’s offices as you can.
  • This policy is secondary insurance which means it will apply benefits to claims that aren’t covered by your primary medical insurance.
